Patricia (Patty) Brooks-Nobles is the Market Executive, Global Commercial Banking, Healthcare and Institutions–Mid-Atlantic, where she leads nine client teams who provide financial solutions to healthcare, educational, national association, religious, cultural, civic, and other not-for-profit (NFP) organizations located in D.C., Maryland, Virginia, West Virginia, Delaware, North Carolina and South Carolina. She has served in her current role since 2004.
Patty joined Bank of America in 1984 as a Relationship Manager and over the next five years progressed to Team Leader for Middle Market Banking – Prince George's County.
In 1991, Patty established the Specialized Industries team in Washington, D.C. That team eventually refined its focus to NFP organizations in Greater Washington and became known as the Specialty Banking team. In 2002, the scope of the team expanded to encompass healthcare providers, state and local governments in Maryland, DC, and Northern Virginia, and general industries clients on the Maryland Eastern Shore.
Before joining the bank, Patty completed her commercial banking training at Trust Company Bank, in Atlanta, GA. She was promoted to Commercial Banking Representative responsible for commercial clients.
In 1982, Patty earned her B.S. in Commerce from the McIntire School of Commerce, University of Virginia, where she majored in finance. In 1987, she earned her MBA from the School of Government and Business Administration, George Washington University. Additionally, she has her Sales Greenbelt Certification.
Currently, she is the Board Vice President of the YWCA of the National Capital Area, Board Secretary of Junior Achievement of the National Capital Area, and a member of the Howard University School of Business Board of Visitors. She is also an associate member of the American Society of Association Executives, and a member of Leadership Washington (Class of 2001).
Patty, a native Washingtonian, resides in Washington, DC with her husband and children.
