Edward L. Cohen is a Principal of Lerner Enterprises, the largest private real estate development and investment company in the Washington, DC area, and Executive Vice President, Secretary and Treasurer of Lerner Corporation, its leasing and management affiliate. He is a Principal Owner and Vice Chairman of the Washington Nationals Baseball Club. After graduating from the University of Pennsylvania, he earned a JD degree from Georgetown University Law Center. Prior to being involved in baseball or real estate, he was a lawyer specializing in nuclear energy matters. In addition to Junior Achievement, he serves on the following Boards: The Congressional Award; Georgetown University Law Center Board of Visitors; and Weizmann Institute of Science.
