David is the Co-Office Managing Principal of Reznick Group’s headquarters office in Bethesda, Maryland. Additionally, David serves on the firm’s Operating Committee.

David joined the firm in 1985 and serves as the lead client services Principal for assurance and management advisory services. He represents clients in the Washington DC Metropolitan area and nationally primarily in the real estate, finance, not for profit sectors. He represents developers, real estate funds, institutional investors, property management and asset management companies, mortgage lenders, distressed loan funds, hedge funds, and government agencies. David’s clients develop, operate and/or invest in a variety of property types including multi-family rentals, condominium and cooperative housing, office buildings, land developments, retail, nursing homes, assisted living facilities, hotels, military housing and industrial. David is nationally recognized for his expertise in real estate and affordable housing and related government programs and tax incentives including HUD finance, Section 8 subsidies, Low Income Housing Tax Credits, Historic Tax credits, New Markets Tax Credits.
David is an adjunct faculty member at the University of Maryland and Georgetown University where he teaches a real estate accounting course for their Masters of Real Estate Development Program. David is a frequent speaker at national conferences on various real estate topics.
David serves on the Dean’s Advisory Board of the Robert H. Smith Business School at University of Maryland.
David graduated from the University of Maryland with a Bachelor of Science in Accounting, with a concentration in Finance. He is a member of the Urban Land Institute, Pension Real Estate Association, American Institute of Certified Public Accountants, and National Leased Housing Association, Mortgage Bankers Association.
David is a native Washingtonian and lives in Gaithersburg MD with his wife and two sons. He enjoys vacationing with his family and friends at the beach, riding his bicycle other outdoor activities, and cheering for his son’s baseball, basketball, swim, karate, and hockey competitions.
