Steven Snider is a founding partner of Snider & Weinstein PLLC. Prior to forming his Firm on February 1, 2007, Mr. Snider was a partner at WilmerHale, the second largest law firm in Washington, D.C., at which he practiced real estate, corporate and tax law for more than 25 years.

Practice

Mr. Snider is engaged in a broad spectrum of tax and business-related matters. He assists owners, developers and investors in creating and implementing tax-advantaged structures for real estate and corporate acquisitions, financings and dispositions. In addition, he performs general corporate and securities work, including mergers and acquisitions, for start-up and emerging companies. Mr. Snider blends broad legal knowledge with business acumen and strategic ability.

Mr. Snider is past president of the Washington Association of Real Estate Professionals, a former board member of First Union Real Estate Equity and Mortgage, Chair of Junior Achievement of the National Capital Area, former Chair of the Board Development Committee of Junior Achievement of the National Capital Area, Chair of the 2006 $25 million building campaign of Georgetown Day School, and Board Member and Chair of the Building & Grounds Committee of Georgetown Day School.
