Stu Solomon is managing director of Accenture’s Metropolitan Washington, DC region. He is also a member of Accenture’s North American Leadership Team. Stu is responsible for growth in the mid-Atlantic, expanding Accenture’s image and corporate citizenship programs and leading Accenture’s 3200 employees based in the region.
In his practice responsibilities, Stu works with leading utility companies to improve business operations in such areas as smart grid, customer care, field and back office operations, sustainability, cyber security and business continuity. Over the course of his career he has worked with clients in transportation, state and local government, energy, communications, technology and banking.
Within metropolitan Washington DC, Stu serves on a number of local nonprofit and civic boards including Federal City Council, the Economic Club of Washington, DC and the Greater Washington Board of Trade.
Stu graduated from Baylor University in 1985 with a bachelor degree in finance. In 1986 he received his master of business administration degree from Baylor in finance and MIS. Stu and his wife reside in McLean, Virginia with their three children.
