MICHAEL STEINITZ

Michael Steinitz is the president of the Mid-Atlantic District for Robert Half International (RHI) and is based in Washington, DC.
Michael began his career with RHI in 1996. He worked his way up through the organization from division director to branch manager to regional vice president to senior vice president holding positions in New York and Massachusetts. Most recently, Michael was the president of the Southeastern Mid-Atlantic District, overseeing offices throughout North Carolina, South Carolina and Virginia.
Michael is considered a local expert on the staffing industry, commenting on recruiting practices, hiring trends, and other workplace issues. Michael was recently honored by Business Leader magazine as a 2009 Movers & Shakers Award winner.
Born and raised in Washington, DC, Michael graduated Phi Beta Kappa with a bachelor's degree in history from the University of Wisconsin Madison.
