Gary is the Southeast Regional Managing Partner for Deloitte & Touche LLP. He previously served as the Managing Partner for Deloitte’s Greater Washington Practice, including offices in McLean, Washington, DC, Baltimore, Richmond, and Arlington.
Gary brings over 32 years of deep experience serving a variety of clients and has significant experience in SEC reporting matters, mergers and acquisitions, and due diligence procedures and activities.
As a Lead Client Service Partner, Audit Partner, and Advisory Partner, he has a strong working knowledge of the many issues public and private companies face, including accounting, reporting, and corporate governance. He is particularly experienced serving telecommunications, media, and technology companies as well as government contractors.
He currently serves as Lead Client Services and Audit Partner for Watson Wyatt Worldwide. His other numerous and varied clients that he has served as Lead Client Services and Audit Partner have included SRA International, Inc., American Management Systems, Booz Allen Hamilton, CACI International, ManTech International Corporation, OAO Technology Solutions, Inc., Primus Telecommunications, Inc., Yurie Systems and Fairchild Industries. He also currently serves as Advisory Partner on a number of clients including B/E Aerospace, Hughes Communications and Deltek.
Gary is very active in the Washington community. He is on the Board of Directors of the Greater Washington Board of Trade, Junior Achievement, Professional Services Council, Wolf Trap Foundation for the Performing Arts, and Federal City Council. He is currently the Treasurer of the Greater Washington Board of Trade. Gary is also a respected leader in the firm’s mentoring, diversity and women’s initiatives.
Gary holds a B.S. degree in Accounting from the University of Maryland, and is a Certified Public Accountant and member of the American Institute of Certified Public Accountants and Maryland Association of CPA’s.
