A Record Breaking Year for JA!
In academic year 2007, JA served 35,948 children! This is an increase of more
than 2,500 youth, or almost 8 percent, over the previous year. Our
goal for this year is to reach nearly 40,000 children, but that takes more
volunteers! To see how you can help, contact

Calling All Volunteers!
Share your experience with a young person today. As a JA
volunteer, you will visit a classroom five times (in elementary
school) for 30-45 minutes a visit during regular school hours.
For middle and high school, the time commitment is a bit more.
You can even volunteer with a partner! It's easy and
rewarding. For more information, please contact your
local state coordinator:
Maryland: Chelsea Soneira, 301-838-0471, Chelsea.Soneira@JA.org
Virginia: Virginia Baird, 202-777-4471, Virginia.Baird@JA.org
