What a thrill it was for Junior Achievement to co-host Financial Literacy Day on Capitol Hill last month! Legislators and backers of financial and economic education packed the Canon House building to lend their support for this growing national movement.
And for all of us locally, rest assured that we are ahead of the curve – adopted or pending legislation in the District of Columbia, Maryland and Virginia will require students to have a fundamental understanding of financial literacy to graduate high school.
Meeting this demand is JA's top priority, so please join our efforts to ensure that all children in this region have access to these important programs.
We appreciate your interest.
