Last month Washington, DC, hosted JA's national Day on the Hill, where 100 local JA Presidents and volunteer Chairs from across the country traveled to Capitol Hill to discuss Junior Achievement's leadership role in the national "financial literacy" movement with their Senators and congressional representatives.
Locally, our Board Chair Deloitte's Gary Tabach and I personally heard passion from our elected officials for JA's efforts for youth, and a broad commitment to support our work in Greater Washington.
The focus of our work remains clear, and we are actively building capacity to scale our efforts.
Your continued support is the backbone of our organization.
Thank you.
