Laureate induction into the Washington Business Hall of Fame is a lifetime achievement award for individuals who have made a major, positive impact on Greater Washington through the private sector economy. Inductees have consistently demonstrated the following qualities throughout their professional lives:
- Business excellence
- Visionary, innovative leadership
- Community involvement
Through these accomplishments, Laureates serve as role models for the next generation of business leaders. Laureates are selected annually by a committee comprised of members of the three founding organizations: The Greater Washington Board of Trade, Junior Achievement of Greater Washington, and The Washingtonian.
Congratulations to our 2016 Washington Business Hall of Fame Laureates Diane Hoskins (Gensler), O.M. Tomy Nicely (GEICO), Kenneth A. Samet (MedStar Health), and Gary H. Tabach (Deloitte). And thank you to all of you who helped make this Washington Business Hall of Fame the best yet and raise over $1.3 million to support Junior Achievement of Greater Washington.
