Call for Nominations - 20th Anniversary Washington Business Hall of Fame
The deadline for submissions for the 20th Anniversary Washington Business Hall of Fame
was Friday, March 7, 2008; the nominating process is now closed.
You may nominate an individual to be honored at a future Washington Business Hall of Fame by
completing the form below. Every nomination will be carefully reviewed by our selection committee
based on the criteria listed below. Each nomination should include a brief biography of the
nominee along with an explanation of why you believe they meet the criteria.
Laureate Selection Criteria
Laureate induction into the Washington Business Hall of Fame is a lifetime achievement award
for individuals who have made a major, positive impact on the Greater Washington Region
through the private sector economy. Inductees have consistently demonstrated the following
qualities throughout their professional lives:
- Business excellence
- Visionary, innovative leadership
- Community involvement
Through these accomplishments, Laureates serve as role models for the next generation of
business leaders. Five Laureates are inducted annually by a committee comprised of members
of the three sponsoring organizations – The
Greater Washington Board of Trade, Junior
Achievement of the National Capital Area, and
The Washingtonian – as well as
members of the business community.
