Call for Nominations


The deadline for laureate nomination submissions for the
2012 Washington Business Hall of Fame is Friday, November 11, 2011 at 5:00 p.m.

You may nominate an individual to be honored at a future Washington Business Hall of Fame by completing the form below. Every nomination will be carefully reviewed by our selection committee based on the listed criteria. Each nomination should include a brief biography of the nominee along with an explanation of why you believe they meet the criteria.

Laureate Selection Criteria

Laureate induction into the Washington Business Hall of Fame is a lifetime achievement award for individuals who have made a major, positive impact on the Greater Washington Region through the private sector economy. Inductees have consistently demonstrated the following qualities throughout their professional lives:

  • Business excellence
  • Visionary, innovative leadership
  • Community involvement

Through these accomplishments, Laureates serve as role models for the next generation of business leaders. Laureates are selected annually by a committee comprised of members of the three founding organizations: The Greater Washington Board of Trade, Junior Achievement of Greater Washington, and The Washingtonian.
