The JA Job Shadow™ brings together JA's proven, hands-on curriculum with a visit to a workplace to give students an up-close look into the working world. This experience is designed to provide students with a bridge from the classroom the future, helping them make connections to the skills they will need to thrive in the workplace, as well as the importance of doing well in school. The JA Job Shadow™ prepares students to be entrepreneurial thinkers in their approach to work and to thrive in demanding and ever-changing workplaces.

During your JA Job Shadow™ at billion-dollar social marketing and professional services startup Sprinklr, you will have the opportunity to learn more about the groundbreaking work Sprinklr is doing to help companies take a more holistic approach to their client and crisis communications, as well as get an inside look at what it's like to sell a product and work directly with clients. You will also get hands-on interviewing tips and techniques from people who have been there and landed the job.

During your JA Job Shadow™ at Washington Dulles International Airport, you will get a inside look at the inner-workings of one of the world's busiest airports: from behind-the-scenes with the Transportation Security Administration (TSA) and Customers and Border Protection (CBP), to a trip inside the Airport Operations and Ramp Tower, as well as a conversation with an airline pilot. You'll also be connected with airport staff based on your career interest during lunch for a candid discussion about the future.
