The purpose of Apply Within is to introduce students to skills needed in career development/exploration and local opportunities for job growth and business development in the Greater Washington Region. In partnership with the Washington Business Journal, educators and guidance counselors are provided with the free Apply Within materials to present to their students. More than 9,000 students have participated in this dynamic and interactive initiative since its creation in 2003, with over 400 students participating in the 2008-2009 academic year.
