Junior Achievement offers two methods of implementing programs in the classroom and
at afterschool sites: the traditional
model, and the JA in a Day model.
Junior Achievement's programs are traditionally taught by volunteers
from the local community for 30-45 minutes each week for five to seven weeks, with the exact
time commitments dependent upon the grade level of the students. JA in a Day is a unique initiative
that allows volunteers to teach all of the lessons of Junior Achievement's
six elementary school programs in an intensive and effective
one-day effort.
