Junior Achievement's programs are traditionally taught by volunteers
from the local community for 30-45 minutes each week for five to seven weeks, with the exact time
commitments dependent upon the grade level of the students. The exact scheduling of the classes
is determined by the volunteer and teacher; they work together to determine the time and date of
each class and can opt to complete the program in less time, if desired. All volunteers are
trained by JA staff prior to entering the classroom, and
may choose to team-teach with a co-worker or friend.
