Nominations are now being accepted for the 2019 Washington Business Hall of Fame

Laureate Selection Criteria

Laureate induction into the Washington Business Hall of Fame is a lifetime achievement award for individuals who have made a major, positive impact on the Greater Washington region through the private sector economy. Inductees have consistently demonstrated throughout their professional lives:

  • Business excellence

  • Visionary, innovative leadership

  • Community involvement

Through these accomplishments, Laureates serve as role models for the next generation of business leaders, many of whom are currently Junior Achievement students.

Laureates are nominated by the Greater Washington business community and are selected by a committee comprised of members of the three founding organizations – Junior Achievement of Greater Washington, the Greater Washington Board of Trade, and the Washingtonian Magazine.

You may nominate an individual to be honored at the Washington Business Hall of Fame by completing the form below.
