Enterprise supports JA of Greater Washington as inaugural presenting sponsor of the JA Hero® volunteer training program at JA Finance Park® Prince George’s County for 2016-2017 school year

Under the leadership of JA of Greater Washington board member and Enterprise General Manager, Michelle Bosch, Enterprise Holdings has generously agreed to a $30,000 sponsorship of the JA Hero® volunteer training program at Junior Achievement’s JA Finance Park® Prince George’s County for the 2016-2017 school year.

Volunteers play an integral role in the everyday function and success of JA® programming, especially at our JA® Finance Parks in the region. Last school year alone, over 1,300 JA® Hero volunteers came to our JA Finance Park® in Prince George’s County to lead kids through our interactive and engaging financial literacy simulation.

Every volunteer role model that comes to the park receives training by JA® staff members before interacting with the students. This training prepares our volunteers to have a meaningful impact on the students’ experience at JA Finance Park®, as they lead the students through their day at the Park. Enterprise’s gift will directly support these volunteer training efforts.

This sponsorship aligns well with Enterprise’s commitment to management training, a central part of their company values. Enterprise functions under the belief that “learning never stops,” and as such, Enterprise is proud to sponsor a training program that equips our adult volunteers with the knowledge to effectively administer JA® programming.
